Alexis is a chorus director with a background in voice and music education. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, along with degrees in voice and music education from Shorter College. Alexis loves adventure and recently spent three weeks walking more than 200 miles along the Camino de Santiago from Porto, Portugal, to Santiago, Spain. Her favorite Coro memory is performing Considering Matthew Shepard at City Springs in 2019. She also serves as Southeast Region Chair for the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition, supporting promising young opera singers as they develop their careers.
